AMY HANDFIELD is a visual artist with a focus in painting and bookmaking. She received a B.S. in Studio Art from Skidmore College (May, 2000) where she studied under artists such as David Miller and Margo Mensing. Handfield completed her M.F.A. in Interdisciplinary Art at Goddard College (January, 2005) working with artists Peggy Diggs, Gale Jackson, and Cynthia Ross. Her work has been exhibited at the City University of New York, Bronx Community College Faculty Exhibition (2005-2008). Amy Handfield currently teaches in the Art and Music Department at Bronx Community College of the City University of New York. She lives and creates in Astoria, New York. |
